The theme cart is for flexible storage, the trays are loose and can be separated directly on the table with the contents. The edge of the tray is a magnetic board, you can write on them with a whiteboard marker or put magnets on. Shelves can be added as needed. The cart can stand "with its back" to the wall if there is a need to close off the contents. The cart comes with 2 trays and 7 shelves
