The cube consists of four wooden frames that are put together and which, using boards or fabric, form walls around a room. It can be supplemented with a roof, which gives it a visual recognisability to real houses. The roof is transparent to ensure daylight intake. Like a nest, it forms space in itself, but also space around it.
In principle, there are no limits to what the cube can be, only your imagination can run out. The cube can be decorated according to the themes that are being worked on in the daycare or according to the children's interests. The board sides make it easy to switch between different games, baking one day, theater the next. There are different types of walls for it. The cube nicely accommodates a small dollhouse arrangement.
The walls can be full or half, horizontal or vertical. It can function as a den with mattresses, pillows and books or be part of a larger, coherent play installation that includes several cubes or other elements. You can “live” in it, or it can screen the play for a small group of children.
