Children enjoy role-playing because it gives them the opportunity to invent different roles, and play and experiment with themes they know from other people and animals. Role-playing occurs especially because it invites togetherness and expands social skills. It is therefore important to create the right framework for this.

The selection of prints for furniture creates unique solutions and brings life to the playroom. The illustrations have a pedagogical approach, where learning and exploration are paramount.
The high level of detail in the illustrations makes it exciting for children to explore the products and find quirks and characteristics of the individual motifs.
It helps stimulate their imagination to create their own games that involve the motifs and products.
The motifs are based on Nordic nature and familiar elements from it. The children have the opportunity to explore which animals and plants belong to water, land and air, respectively, and how nature looks in the different seasons. It is fun for the children to explore and examine the individual characteristics, colors and shapes and have the opportunity to meet and recognize the same animals and surroundings out in nature.
It is easily accessible to children when it is integrated into the furniture. It becomes a natural part of their everyday life and a natural desire to investigate things more closely arises when they are confronted with the motifs in this way.
The print is completely unique and made by a local artist from Ærø. The artist designed it especially for One Wood's furniture.
